Explain the similarities and differences between “The Sound of Thunder” and “The Toaster Simpson’s Vignette”

The Sound of Thunder and The Toaster Simpson’s Vignette both share similar characteristics about the different results that occur in the future if something is altered in the past. If an insect or a plant was destroyed in the past, then the future will be changed as a product of that action. Also, Homer and Eckels were both told not to touch anything that may change the future, they both thought that their actions wouldn’t change the future but they were wrong. Eckels and Homer both came in contact with a T-rex and they both killed a prehistoric insect on accident. Both their lives were forever changed since they went back in time.
